What is Solarcoin?
What needs to be done ?
Solarcoin is a standard clone coin with the following unique aspects:
1. Ability to add a 523 character message to each TX transaction. This capability is inherited from Florincoin.
2. POST consensus algorithm. The POST algorithm is inherited from Vericoin. White paper here.
Please include the bitpay features for copay.io support as well, the various indices (address, spent, unspent) and the new rpc calls - https://github.com/bitpay/bitcoin/tree/0.13-bitcore
Please post your outcome on the open repository at https://github.com/.
Ideally updated compiled versions of the Linux, MacOS and Windows QT wallets would delivered as well. Ideally they would also be developer signed.
Prizes to go
The best solution will get the prize of 10,000 SLR (approximately $ 1,900) . The rest of the contributing members will share 15,000 SLR (approximately $ 2850), with the sum of one prize not exceeding 5,000 SLR (approximately $ 950). The amount of each award will be calculated individually, based on the quality of the work provided.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask them in the project comments.
A few disclaimers:
There is no guarantee of winning a prize. The prizes are only awarded to entries that the Lykke judges find worthwhile. Prizes are awarded in Solar coins, which may be redeemed for currency and sent to your bank. You must be at least 18 years of age. You must not submit twice — your first submission is the one that counts. You will be responsible for declaring your own income to your local tax authorities. All submissions will be disclosed to the public. The prizes are given at Lykke’s sole discretion. The decisions of the judges will be final — there is no appeals process if your project does not win a prize. No other compensation will be given at this stage.
