Lykke is going forward coming with more and more new products. At this point, we need to develop a logo for the new Eco Wallet application which is currently being in progress. This app will show digital assets related to the ecological environment. There are two of them so far: Heyerdahl Mangrove Coin (HMC) and SolarCoin (SLR).

About HMC and SLR

All HMC sale proceeds will be used to support the Thor Heyerdahl Climate Park. Each HMC will allow the Worldview International Foundation (WIF) to plant one seedling of mangrove tree. For more information refer to this link

SLR equals 1 MW of solar power. 99% of SolarCoins will be given to producers of 97,500 TWh over 40 years. For more information refer to this link. The list of assets will be expanded in the near future by other environmental assets.

About application

The Eco Wallet will be a half-financial and a half-gaming application. The game part will resemble a strategy where each user will be able to see the area where he or she improves the environment by acquiring this or that environmental asset. And the financial part will provide wallets with assets that will allow the user to track, buy and sell environmental assets.

Principles to follow when creating a logo:

1. The logo shall be easily scalable and shall look the same well both on the app's icon and on the big poster.

2. The logo shall be minimalistic, but at the same time carry a smart metaphor or simply a plastic design.

3. The source file in vector format (.ai) is required.

4. The logo shall have a monochrome, contour, and inverse version.

5. The logo shall represent the following key words: ecosystem, network, digital, help, multiplicity, freshness, flexibility, ecology, nature, security.

6. The color palette is at the author's discretion; however the subject of the product shall be taken into account: ecology and digital.

7. Provide options for using the logo on multiple media (e.g., as an icon on iPhone, T-shirt, business card).

8. Description, principles of construction, and short guidelines will be appreciated.

Result:

The outcome shall include: preview, guides (PNG, JPEG, PDF) and working file (AI).

Comments about competition

Balazs Muller — 1st place
Balazs completely deserves the first prize. The author met all the requirements of the contest and created a really cool logo! We`ve had great pleasure looking at his sketches and watching the logo-making process. We are pleased to invite the winner to participate in our future contests and look forward to his next work. Thank you for your participation and congratulations on your well-deserved victory! Yay!

Oleg Krasnov — 2nd place
Great result, but there are some inconsistencies. For example, we would be interested to see this logo in context (on a t-shirt or on a mobile phone screen), see the process of finding a solution, or at least a brief description of the logo from the designer. But we turned a blind eye to that because of the perfect solution. Great thanks to the author for going further and creating one more version of the logo. We look forward to seeing him as a participant in the upcoming contests!

Janick Pascal Rohrbach — 2nd place
Nice version that corresponds well to the description of the contest and is also graphically-friendly. The designer did a good job and showed a worthwhile outcome. We wish him not to stop here!

Ashour Iesho — 2 place
Good and simple clean logo. However, the solution lacks a short description from the creator: What does that mean? How did the author manage to get here? We'd like to see that logo in real life. How would it look on the poster? Would it be possible to fit it in the 24×24 px icon? Hopefully, the author will consider that in the next contests and will beat the previous result. Thanks for participation!

To other participants

Designers who failed to win did not meet the important requirements of the contest. Not everyone managed to find an elegant form or metaphor. However, I would like to mention the logo by Nikolay Chuvakin and Raquel Travincas Pinto for an interesting solution and professional presentation.

Guys, don't be sad! You will take prizes in our future contests. Just do not give up and stop. Good luck!

Dear participants
The logo shall be original, so avoid boring pattern-based images; try to find a smart graphic solution or use symbolism that is not obvious. It is very important for us to get not just a pictogram, but a real symbol, the emblem of the future. And please do not forget about "Principles to follow when creating a logo"
